Lets talk about the movie..
Bharat Ram (Mahesh Babu), a graduate staying in UK hears about the sudden demise of his father (Sharath Kumar) who happens to the CM of the state Andhra Pradesh. Upon arrival, Mahesh is forced by his uncle a party member (Prakash Raj) to step into the shoes of his father. Bharat reluctantly agrees. He tries to bring some massive changes only to realize that there are many corrupt politicians and many loopholes in the system.
Major plus point of the movie is obviously Mahesh Babu himself. He is one of the finest actor of Tollywood who stills hold a strong grip over mass and class fans. If you thought Srimantudu was his career best, you have to wait till you watch him essaying the role of Bharat. He not only appeals to the mass with his action sequence but he also charms the class audience as well. Prakash Raj, just like every time does not disappoint his audience.
The music and the back ground music by Devi Sri Prasad is note worthy . The title track and the background score of it proceeds throughout the movie and it adds weightage to the story.
Now, last but not the least, Captain of the movie Koratala Siva, has given a clean political drama. He has handled the social issues and presented them in a realistic way. The grip on emotional scenes is something which has to be mentioned here. Nowhere does the director makes it look like its forced emotion. Every emotion shown and depicted by the actors look natural.
Kiara Advani and Mahesh Babu chemistry seems off most of the times. The romantic angle is bit forced and rushed. Kiara’s character is not fully developed. The movie does lag a bit. The comedy is next to nil.
Verdict: Full paisa vasool movie. Fan or no fan of Mahesh Babu you will surely enjoy this political drama.
